Maysoun Ramadan

Head of HR and Communication, Roche Diagnostic

A passionate champion of women empowerment, workplace gender equality and STEM education among young female Arabs. She is the Head of Human Resources & Corporate Communication of Roche Diagnostics Middle East. In her role she drives HR strategies across the organization reinforcing fostering a culture of learning, a growth mindset and empowering people to embrace their differences to unlock the potential and value of D&I-both on their individual careers & to the organization. As a communications experts, she leads the strategic external business communications and corporate outreach across 16 countries, as well as internal communications for over 450 employees and the public & media relations including MeDia Talks initiative, a program addressing industry concerns and raising awareness on important health issues by bringing together media, patients and healthcare stakeholders. An advocate in integrating diversity & inclusion into the corporate culture where RDME became the first company to implement an internship placement program for people of determination & raise awareness on such important topics at platforms such as the Global Women in Leadership Economic Forum. With over a decade of industry experience, Maysoun has been instrumental in driving effective campaigns on the need for early diagnosis of non-communicable diseases, a rising concern in the region. Maysoun works extensively with diverse stakeholders in the healthcare sector from regulators to civil society organizations, patient groups, healthcare providers and the media, with her bottom-line goal of bettering healthcare standards and improving lifestyles. The youngest member in Roche Diagnostics Middle East’s leadership team, she was the driving force behind establishing the company’s Communications & Public Affairs Department, enabling the organization to streamline its community and media outreach more effectively across the region.
